Meeting with Ms. Noemie De Luca, Internal Assesment Coordinator of LMPI Project, CESIE – Italy
In the activity series of LMPI Project, the first assessment session by CESIE, Italy was organized on January 29th 2018 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT). This session was performed by Ms. Noemie De Luca, Internal Assesment Coordinator of LMPI Project, CESIE – Italy with participation of lecturers and professors in the project from HCMUT.
During the meeting, Ms Noemi had a discussion with the project team on the activities associated with strategic planning, double program and international cooperating programs, student exchange programs as well as the difficulties and advantages of HCMUT in launching the project. Moreover, Ms. Noemi had a meeting with Dr. Tran Duy Thanh, representative expert of external assessment of three Vietnamese partners to share experiences on the quality assurance process.
In order to better understand the academic activities, the advantages and difficulties of establishing new training programs, Ms. Noemi had a meeting with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tran Vu and interviewed several students on satisfaction and expectation as well as the benefits of students in the program.
University – industry relationship and satisfaction during the assessment session together with the participation of companies in the activities of the project was also one the target aspect of interest to Ms. Noemi in her agenda in HCMUT. Towards that purpose, Ms. Noemi and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tran Vu paid a visit to VNG CORP to study the functional operations and the ability of the company to meet the demands of the new training program, learning about the close partnership and long-lasting cooperation between industries and HCMUT.
