What is TACTIC
- An Erasmus+ Capacity Building project, a programme funded by the European Commission;
- Aims to modernize and reform higher education institutions through activities such as improving governance and management systems; building relationships between higher education institutions and relevant socio-economic actors; and promoting people-to-people contacts, intercultural awareness and understanding;
- Project period: 3 years (10/2015 – 10/2018);
- Project coordinator: Masaryk University, Czech Republic and Co-coordinator: National University of Mongolia
- Partner HEIs in Europe: Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic; European Association of Institutions in Higher Education; Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia; University of Perpignan Via Domitia, France;
- Partner country HEIs in Asia: University of Battambang and Meanchey University, Cambodia; University of the Humanities, Mongolia; Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam.
Objectives
- To contribute to the modernization and reform of the management system within HEIs in the SEA partners;
- To strengthen the competencies of top and middle managers of these institutions.

- Administrative Management and Student Enrollment;
- HR and Change Management training;
- Financial Management;
- Information Management System (IMS).
Benefits and impacts
- 50 middle managers and administrative staff can benefit from the updated knowledge and skills on change management and management/administrative processes within a partner country HEI;
- 03 middle managers and administrative staff of each partner country HEI achieve the internationally recognized certificate PRINCE2;
- For dissemination and multiplier effects towards expected outcomes, conferences and management meetings and train-the-trainer sessions will be implemented. These activities aims at disseminating knowledge and know-how relating leadership in higher education and change management and fostering the spreading of the knowledge of the EHEA and its principles towards accountability and transparency of HE within a significant number of individuals and partner country HEIs.
