A Triple-party Cooperation Agreement in different fields concluded

 

Three universities, namely Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), and the University of Danang – University of Science and Technology (DUT), concluded a triple-party cooperation agreement in training, scientific research, and technology transfer on January 13, 2021. On this occasion, the three parties agreed to cooperate in co-organizing an international conference on Communications and Electronics.

Based on the General Announcement of seven technical universities on June 27, 2020, three universities – HCMUT, HUST, and DUT – signed a triple-party cooperation agreement in training, scientific research, and technology transfer. According to the cooperation content, in the field of training, the three universities will implement cooperation activities, such as jointly recognize credits for equivalent modules of the same majors, allowing students to apply for the courses among them; sharing experiences, cooperating in building bachelor and master training programs, specialized training programs specific to engineering qualifications; student exchange, building co-supervising models for bachelor students, master students and doctoral researchers in their graduation thesis and dissertation among the three universities; connecting and attracting talents to implement many joint curricula of the three universities; cooperating and sharing experiences in international accreditation at the training program and institutional levels; cooperating to organize scientific conferences to share teaching experiences, textbooks, and new teaching technology application; and sharing open digital library resources among these universities.

In terms of technology transfer, the three parties agreed to carry out joint activities, such as developing interdisciplinary research programs and co-publications; building innovation and technology transfer programs, startups, and joint research spin-off; building interdisciplinary research groups in specific fields but not limited to AI, Digital Technology, New Materials, Energy Security, Cyclic Economy and so on; organizing joint scientific research and innovation and entrepreneurship of learners and building a common startup ecosystem; developing researcher exchange programs, sharing information about digital transformation among the parties; coordinating to organize international scientific conferences in the fields of science and technology that the parties give priority to develop.

The three parties agreed to cooperate in organizing an international conference on Communications and Electronics. 

On this occasion, the three parties agreed to cooperate in organizing an international conference on Communications and Electronics (ICCE), a series of international scientific conferences patronized by prestigious professional associations around the world. According to the agreement signed, from the year 2022, the ICCE will be an official conference series of the three parties every two years. The ICCE held is to take advantage of available resources, positions of scientists, and international partnership networks of the three parties, making it the more well-known event in Vietnam and abroad. At the same time, the ICCE is a starting point for extensive scientific research cooperation among the three leading engineering universities in Vietnam in the years to come.
