Students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology as VIG INVEST scholarship recipients with a total value of 100 million VND
20 students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) received the VIG INVEST scholarships with a total value of 100 million VND during the academic year 2020-2021 on the morning of 29 March 2021

The VIG INVEST JSC, attending the ceremony, was represented by Mr. Nguyen Duy Tuong – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Tran Chi Hieu – Deputy General Director, Mr. Nguyen Thai Ha – Founder of the VEF 2.0 program, and representatives of relevant departments. On the other hand, the HCMUT’s counterpart was by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Danh Thao – the Vice President of HCMUT, academic faculties and functional office leadership, and scholarship recipient students.
During the academic year 2020-2021, 40 scholarships being installed twice, with each having 20 students granted scholarships.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duy Tuong said the scholarships are for students who had gone through hardships due to the past storms and floods in Central Vietnam. The scholarships aim at partly sharing difficulties that the students’ families had encountered while the students had peace in mind toward outstanding academic performances.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Danh Thao, Vice President of HCMUT, expressed his sincere thanks to VIG INVEST JSC for always accompanying the university in supporting its students. He also stressed that scholarships play a driving force for students to study hard, be trained, and grow up for their careers in the future.

Previously in August 2020, both parties HCMUT as highly-qualified human resource producers and VIG INVEST JSC as human resource recruiters signed a cooperative agreement in various fields such as training, research and support, knowledge, and empirical experience sharing. During the academic year 2020-2021, the VIG INVEST JSC will offer 40 scholarships to students, which will be installed twice, with each having 20 students granted scholarships.
The ceremony was followed-up by VEF 2.0 scholarship program seminar. The VEF 2.0 program is to support excellent students in the application process to the top American universities.
