The Symposium attracted around 140 participants from many countries on the world

 The goal of the symposium is to provide a forum for established and young professionals from academia and industry, such as laboratory scientists, authority managers, senior analysts, members of field sampling management organizations, and food control laboratory scientists,  to advance and exchange knowledge in all aspects of environmental and food monitoring. It was comprise three days of technical sessions and one day of technical tour. Symposium topics: Environmental analytical chemistry, Environmental measurement and monitoring, Water reclamation, Environmental management and technology, Ecotoxicology, Food safety.

The “International Association of Environmental Analytical Chemistry” (IAEAC) is a worldwide operating organization aiming at promoting and maintaining scientific excellence in the area of environmental analytical chemistry and the proper use of the inherent methodologies for the assessment of substances relevant for man and his environment.
