TACTIC. Through Academic Cooperation Towards Innovative Capacity

Financial Management Training

During May and June the training modules moved to another crucial topic that is university financial management. Led by Mrs. Violeta Osouchova from Masaryk University, TACTIC project coordinator, the training took place in Ulaanbaatar, Sisophon and Ho Chi Minh City in the weeks of May 22th to June 9th, 2017. Presentations and workshops dealt with the topics of Planning, Budgeting, Funds and their diversification, Information systems and their use for Financial Management, Risk management or Project writing and Project management, among others.

Training on HR and Change Management completed

Assoc. Prof. Laurent Giraud, visiting Mongolia as the first country of his training module in April, continued to Southeast Asia in the beginning of summer. Partners from Vietnam (hosted by HUST, Hanoi) and Cambodia (hosted by UBB, Battambang) could benefit from his intensive lectures and workshops delivered between June 12th – 23rd, 2017. Each day was focused on topics such as job analysis, recruitment and employee-related work, organizational culture or change management tools and wrapped up with the last day dedicated to elaboration of HR policies.

What is next? ISM training, internships and more

While two training modules are successfully behind us, two more are coming:

Ms. Keit Kiissel and Ms. Kadri-Ann Matson from Talinn University of Technology will conclude their Administration Management and Student Enrollment training in Mongolia from September 15th to 20th, 2017. In addition, our colleagues from Brno University of Technology will hit the road to Asia to deliver training on Informational System Management from September 25th to November 3rd, 2017.

Meanwhile, work on equipment purchase and PRINCE2 training and certification is moving forward and the consortium is planning the autumn internships in Europe. One selected trainee per each training module (FM, ISM, HR, SA) and each partner university will visit TACTIC universities in Europe, having a chance to closely observe and try the best practices in their respective fields. The internships will last two weeks in November.
