HCMUT Signed a Collaboration Agreement with Italian Trade Commission HCMC in Vietnam
Afternoon April 7th, 2016, HCMUT and Italian Trade Commission officially signed the collaboration agreement at Room 103 A5 Building, HCMUT.
Attended the ceremony was Ms. Bruna Santarelli, Director of Italian Trade Commission HCMC in Vietnam and her assistant. From HCMUT, Prof. Vu Dinh Thanh – Rector, Prof. Nguyen Danh Thao – Director of External Relations Office, Dr. Nguyen Van Liem – Head of Equipment & Facilities Management Office, Mr. Tran Dai Nguyen, M.s.C. – Vice Dean of Mechanical Engineering Faculty, Dr. Bui Mai Huong – Head of Department of Textile – Garment Engineering joined the signing ceremony.

Track back to its history, the agreement originated from the the Memorandum of Understanding signed in May, 2015 in order to promote training activities in textile – garment engineering in Ho Chi Minh City. Italy-Vietnam Textile Technology Center will be a leading training center in textile-garment engineering in Ho Chi Minh City. It will serve as an innovative center for technology transfer between Italy and Vietnam.
Italy-Vietnam Textile Technology Center is supported by Italian government, aiming at strengthening development and collaboration in the field of textile-garment industry between Italy and Vietnam.
