Training on how to do self-evaluation by training programs according to ASIIN and AQAS
Training on how to do self-evaluation by training programs according to ASIIN and AQAS 2020 took place in Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) on the morning of 21 July 2020. The training lasted for two days on 21 and 28 July 2020 with the participation of nearly 100 staff and lecturers from different affiliates.

The two accreditation organizations, ASIIN and AQAS, have been recognized by the German Accreditation Council. According to the training program, Head and Deputy Head of Quality Assurance Office Dr. Vo Dai Nhat and M.A. Tran Thai Minh Chanh respectively presented contents of the training, briefing quality norm/criteria sets by training programs as well as steps to carry out accreditation according to ASIIN and AQAS.
Staff and lecturers who joined the training
Currently, HCMUT is standing at the top among accredited institutions with 27 training programs which have been internationally recognized by ABET, CTI, ACBSB, AUN-QA… Head of Quality Assurance Office Dr. Vo Dai Nhat noted “according to the timeline between 2020 and 2015, HCMUT is going to boost the accreditation activities to be internationally recognized by different prestigious accreditation organizations.”

Particularly, in 2021, eleven newly-opened training programs including six programs by ASIIN, three programs by AQAS, one program by FIBAA, and one program by AUN-QA” are going to be under accreditation.
