The International Symposium on University – Industry Linkage at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology
On 11th November 2022, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology invited Signify Vietnam to join the Exhibition at the International Symposium on University – Industry Linkage organized at its Ly thuong Kiet campus. Signify is the new company name of Philips Lighting, the world leader in lighting and provide customers with high-quality, energy-efficient lighting products, systems and services. The participants of the Symposium consists of more than 150 representatives from different companies, the lecturers and students from HCMUT as well as from other Vietnamese and foreign universities. At the company’s well-designed Exhibition Booth, Signify Vietnam introduced and explained to lecturers, students and other participants the most advanced lighting technology and display energy-efficient lighting products of the company.
Signify Vietnam is a close stakeholder that has been accompanying with DESL Project at HCMUT from the early stage. Signify usually attends the project workshops, need assessment survey and often holds training seminars, field trips for HCMUT lecturers and students. The company also supported in designing experiments for students of Faculty of Electrical – Electronics at HCMUT. At the Exhibition, DESL Team at HCMUT collaborated with Signify to introduce the DESL Project and promote its visibility to academic and industry community.
